CLAY ANIMATION
Today were we able to experiment and get creative using clay. Clay is a very common tool used in the worlds of animations. Many films have been created using clay models, Wallace and Grommit and chicken run to name a few. Using clay enable me to experiment with a different source of materials. In our group we decided to make a sun using our play material, initially it was a bit tricky because the clay was hard, however once it soften up was quite enjoyable to use. We learnt though the lecture different techniques to use when working with cay for animations and how effect clay can become. With this in mind we have decided to use clay modelling for out practical animation.

Before this weeks lecture we had got together in our group and decided what scientific concept we wanted to base our animation on, what roles we were all going to play and the design for our animation, so have made good progress with the initial idea process for our animation.

The set for our animation will be a nature background, bright and vibrant to capture children's attention.
Our concept for the animation will be FOOD CHAIN (making reference to ESDGC) using a number of character to create a simple food chain, that would be appealing to children and have a humors side. The food chain would explain to children the steps of a food chain.
